One way to increase our sites visibility is through keyword optimization of our site or post for search engine marketing campaign. Search engine optimization (SEO) is a challenging skill and having ideas in it are very advantageous for Internet search marketing. The part of SEO optimization that we are going to use for online search marketing is the manipulation of our site for keyword marketing, specifically designing our article post in a way that it still retains the value and proper context for humans to understand. While doing keyword optimization that the computer likes and what search engines loves. If done properly then our article post, blogs or websites will be on page one in every prominent search engine results page (SERP.) I also recommend reading the links provided above for better understanding in the complexities of this SEO optimization campaign.
I know it’s difficult for first timers to even digest the first paragraph above so let’s just call this campaign Google marketing. We will be targeting Google search engine for our online campaign since it’s the number one heavily visited search engine and website in the world. It’s a campaign wherein we are going to identify what keywords or key phrases, that relates to our niche, that the users are searching for and integrate these keywords in our site. Thus, our website will have a greater chance of being seen by other online searchers or solution seekers which in effect will increase our sites traffic.
Let us take for example this article post. We will increase its organic search visibility for the keyword “Search Engine Campaign.” So the first thing that we need to do is to check if these key phrases are consistently searched by solution seekers. We will use the Keyword Tool by Google to determine the number of searches for any specific keywords globally.
Three (3) simple steps to increase search engine visibility:
1) Open Keyword Tool and then enter the key phrase, which relates to our niche topic, to check how many searches were done previously for this specific phrase. After clicking the search button, it generated two (2) results but we are interested only with the key phrase that has the highest number of search results. The phrase “Search Engine Campaign” has twenty-seven thousand one-hundred (27,100) global searches.

2) Then integrate the phrase and its individual word all over our article post. This is a bit challenging because we need to balance between giving valuable content for our readers, as well as trying to rank high in the Google search engine results page. You can use my keyword density tool to determine the most used words in your article, just make sure that the keywords are among the top.
3) Also make sure that the phrase is also included in our headline title like the title of this article – Marketing Campaign Search Engine.
There are still more to discuss about how to do search engine optimization. We will stick with the basics first for this thirty (30) days module. How good will the advance stuff if you don’t have a good foundation to do a simple online campaign? The fundamentals here are very important. If you can handle the basic things and be able to survive with it then the rest are much easier to handle.
It will take days, weeks or even months before our search engine optimized content will be indexed by Google.
I’m not actually a fan of search engine marketing campaign though I know so much about it. Ironic isn’t it? Indeed this is a very effective technique too. I just don’t want to be dependent with any search engine like Google to generate website traffic for my site. Putting SEO out of my mind helps by forcing me to focus more in creating great contents for my readers and not for the engines.
Becoming successful with search engine marketing is not necessarily relying so much with keyword optimization. To give you an analogy let us compare it with taming a dog. The dog follows the tamer because it can get something of value from the tamer – food. Feed the dog and it will follow you. The same thing with search engines feed it with non-disposable contents and it will follow you around. That is my marketing campaign for the Google search engine and among others.

Local Search
After around three (3) hours it was indexed and fortunately it ranks high on page one for Google Philippines: Search Engine Campaign. It’s just a matter of time now for it to climb all the way to the top for their international search engine.

International Search
As of of August 1, 2010, it’s now on page one for Google International: Search Engine Campaign search terms. It took around three (3) days for it to climb all the way to the top in their search engine.

Out of 9.29 Million websites having the search phrase I rank among the top ten (10) as of to date. It may still climb all the way to rank number one (1.) So it really pays-off in the long run to create original and valuable content.
